She shuffles in, shaking snow from her coat,
a woman whose face has forgotten warmth.
Her fingers tremble around a torn lottery ticket~
hope folded into a square.
The man beside her watches,
then unzips his own jacket,
sliding it over her shoulders
without a word.
She stares, uncomprehending,
as if kindness were a language
she'd stopped translating years ago.
Outside, the streetlights flicker,
casting long shadows of strangers
who suddenly seem less strange.
The bus arrives, exhaling steam~
a sigh against the winter night.
This Atmosphere — of Tempest —
Reveals the Souls that stay —
When others — like the withered Leaves —
Are frightened — blown away —
Conviction is a Lantern —
Held trembling — in the Gale —
Yet still — it keeps its Yellow —
Though every Light may fail —
The Quiet ones — will startle —
Their Courage — like a Drum —
Beating in the silent Streets —
Announcing — “We have come —”
And History — a stern Witness —
Will note — in careful Ink —
Who rose — against the Thunder —
And who — refused — to Think.
Those that stand against you at silent nights;
Surely, they stand together with insights
To clearly see your downfall...
But shame, greatness will appall
Their forever in shadows of your lights.
Amen!
The swivel of her skirt casts
a pale silhouette around a thin frame--
her face riddled by a strange look
obscured by dazzle of yellows
from a moonlit skyline and lamp posts:
Bright cluster of blooms dwindles
against her stoic gaze,
her dark blouse stained by some
gauze of grief-- she walks
poised ... yet anonymously alone.
Oh, please, why do you want to hurt me again?
Is it jealousy or fear?
What did I do this time?
If you like me, then come on,
trust me.
If you don't like me,
then tell me,
why are you near me?
I don't understand
why this is good for you –
stealing my trust and breaking our bond,
being jealous in the end
and letting it out on me again.
And don't tell me it's not jealousy.
Don't tell me you don't feel jealousy.
Because I'm not that dumb.
But then again,
if I am,
then tell me:
if it's not jealousy,
explain every single detail of your mind,
of your feelings.
Maybe you can explain
and make me understand what it is
if not jealousy, jealousy.
I was jealous too.
We humans experience it now and then –
you know, and I do too.
But I won't let my guard down near you again.
You have to earn it again.
I'm learning from my mistakes,
and you should too.
It's crazy
how we can't be friends.
But then again,
I'm glad – and you are too.
All night long, when I should sleep
My mind wanders through memories
Some tattered and torn by time
Others are obscure beyond belief
Yet I see them, and I relive them
There is no release from them
They are a blessing and a curse
It is something my mind creates
Maybe it thinks I will lose my senses
But I cannot, will not, let that happen
Those battles are not mine to lose
So bring on every one of my memories
I lived through them once, and I will again
Even if they are only in my mind

Drug addiction wounds families,
weakens the nation,
and steals the people's joy.
Dear parents,
you are the frontline warriors-
Rise and fight the menace.
Plan wisely your stretegy.
Do not be disheartened or fall,
when your son is addicted;
and do not let it damage your health.
Wake early each day,
exercise beneath the morning sky,
eat nutritious food,
and keep both body and mind fit .
For it is a struggle to survive,
to shield the young from death's grim knife,
and from the jaws that seek and rend.

Being pessimistic
Bring down the giant
Just walk away
Your not defeated
Be the bigger person
Another dark road up ahead
Your not the only one
Hold up a rustic lamp
Find your way through the chaos
Strangers are always casting out stones
No victory in a fight
Silence builds character
I don’t need to be famous
I’m too old for the drama
Always going through turmoil
Trying to be the peace maker
insecure , jellious, individuals
You can’t escape stupidity
Just walk away
Turn out the noise
Just talk to the hand
I’m not wasting my time and negative energy on this
Me against the world
People will never change
Let go of the rage
Delete social media
Be calm and collective
Don’t bother the old man
Racing against time.
Sailing the hustle tide.
We work where odds outweigh opportunity.
We don't follow systems, we make them.
Children of the soil, barefoot and unshaken.
Belief, the only wealth we ever owned.
Pots kept breaking at the doorway,
So we removed the doors.
We eat what we grow,
but we also grow from what we never had.
No silver spoons,
Just wooden hope and fire-wrapped plans.
They taught us to dream inside lines,
we bled outside them instead.
They named it poverty,
we called it process.
They called it humble beginnings
we saw blueprints.
Brick by broken brick,
we wrote futures with no permission.
Education should empower.
But does the system liberate or sentence?
Everything indoctrination.
Freed in cages,
by systems shaped to look like freedom.
They filed his blood beneath a numbered case—
the marrow went to war without a call.
The VA counted cells, not what took place
in basements where his stare could split the wall.
The cancer knew his secrets—mutiny
against Guam’s humid silence, its red debt
claimed as the twenty-one guns thoomed in key.
We stood. We nodded. No one cried. Not yet.
There’s money now, for toxin’s wrongful death,
Agent Orange crusading through his bones.
But not for years of learning that a breath
is held—not for the legacy of tones.
They pay for what his blood became, not how
it taught us all to disappear. Lie down.
The flower of humility is a prerequisite for the intervention of hope
No situation can nullify a shift from hopelessness to joy
Faith over fear should imprint your heart because
The potency of unshakable hope will piece the air
Even when life is not fair
Darkness is but a temporary occasion
On this road of life
There lies an unshakable hope.
This is a hope that shines in the darkness!
This is a hope that is courageous and steadfast
In reality, certain moments in life will refine us and
Shake the core of our existence
But in this state of prepared darkness
The supremacy of hope will become stronger, and we must
Never forget that there is a hope that shines in the darkness!
As an individual of time, the heart must
Reach its prime against all odds!
The sun sets as evening approaches, but
Nothing can stop the sun from rising in the morning!
Hope is ever present, and hope shines in the darkness

They locked her in a box of gold,
with chains that shimmered, stories told.
"Stay pretty, still–don't ask for more,
The fire in you? Just folklore".
she smiled like myths were make–believe,
But hid a flame beneath her sleeve.
each breath she took was kindling slow,
A furnace marked in ash and glow.
The saw her feathers, red and bright,
But clipped her wings do dim her light.
"You burn too loud", they used to say,
"And blaze is not the woman way".
Yet silence cracks, and embers bite –
she burst the cage in blaze and flight.
Not tamed, not torn, not anyone’s—
she rose to kiss forbidden suns.
Now when they speak her name in fear,
It echoes loud and crystal clear:
You cannot cage what’s born to rise
A phoenix lives in ashes's guise

Tell me if this is love or hate
That you are feeling against God
I don't understand you at
AII
How can you hate God
After all he gave you
He gave you love
Can you understand that
He gave you
Plenty of love
Without you even asking for it
AIso it was God that made
You
In his image
And he gave you life
You can't live without life
Because also life is precious
You are not looking after you
Life
You are a chain smoker
Too bad
AIso you are ruining your
Lungs
You are going to end up with
Lung cancer
Is that what you really want?
You better think it over
It would be the smartest thing
To quit smoking
You are also wasting your
Money buying cigarettes
The Sun forgot to rise one day,
and never came again.
The stars blinked out like dying sparks–
the world went cold, and then...
the silence grew, the stories died,
and no one dared to dream.
But deep beneath the weight of dark,
inside a cave unknown,
one ember breathed–not bright, not bold,
but fiercely on its own.
It had the last of truth and fight,
a warmth that would not go.
It waits for hands not scared of dark,
for hearts that still believe,
It waits for someone brave enough.
to light what none could see,
The world thinks hope is gone for good–
but hope was always heat.
