Common sense
for some not any
TDS afflicts so many.
Perhaps a day
a light turns on
illuminates why you are wrong!
What MAGA means
not pejorative,
make great this country
where we do live.

Mr Napkin Holder
What troubles or
afflicts Mr Napkin Holder is
voices on a
speakerphone are too
loud, are too
confident, the smell of
instant noodles, and
those who say aka instead of
saying
also knows as.

Practicing how to breathe, when there's a shortness of breath.A slow rhythm in the background calms me down, when a void tried to look into me.I was up alone yet again while the demons of the night visited me. Has it been a year now since sleep has become paralysing.I dared something much deeper within me, to find out it wasn't me who was talking back. A mindless creature may exist outside my comfort zones. Too long since we found a sense of belonging inside our lives, so I stepped into other people's life. Only to be found as different than all the rest. Being like this was never choice, have you ever seen what afflicts me? Please don't kick me out of your circle, it's dark where I am.I found you to understand me, helped me out of my misery. It's a gratitude that I don't belong with the monsters,my skin still remembered the abuse it's done to me. I've grown to be stronger than them, yet still my mind has captivated an attention of a million.

Besieged by stygian forces...
Left to rot a hermit's gloom.
I lay hidden from the world
Entombed within my room.
I would not venture hither
Against a cold that swallows whole
And challenge winter's malcontent
That afflicts my troubled soul.
But Nature is auspicious
Knowing the coward that I am
And grants me some advantage
And insight to her plans.
She springs forth the blessed tulip
To bring wonder to my gaze
As winter's shadow starts to dissipate
With the lengthening of days.
But the sign that lifts my spirit
To know winter's laid to rest...
There are robins flirting to and fro
As they build their family's nest.
The End

LIFE'S STORMS
The sky is clear and blue, no clouds in sight
To break the calm in life.
Colors come thru drab, no action's taking place,
Yet blessings still abound in life.
Be thankful for the calm, it won't remain too long
Before a storm afflicts your life.
Build faith while thoughts may come thru clear,
Before begin the trials of life.
Dark clouds will come, God helps those
Who bravely bear their lot in life.

Deathly afraid of needles
Barbie began to whine and wheedle
Aw, Doc, before you plunge in that syringe
Listen to this, try not to cringe
Studies show that needle-induced trauma
afflicts 98% of birthing mommas...
But Doc went ahead, stuck in that sharp pole
Bwa-ha-ha ~ another win for population control

Sadly I say goodbye
Precious one Take a bow
the anguish tortures that you've endured
I weep for darkness
for the hopelessness eats away I am very low
no longer shall we caress
I am only your love
Sadly I say goodbye
I am only your pictures.
taken and now placed on the living room wall
each passing day afflicts the body leaving you less richer
for the hopelessness eats away all the morrow
but I am still here
in your heart
in your dreams
yet it seems
to be so very real
No long can you touch me
for I am not here
the hard you try
the more you cry
after the hellos
sadly I say goodbye

O' my severed heart
Don't shed a tear for me
I so am bleeding out
My heartbeats slower
I grieve for your stare
Wishing you were yet here
Time is precious as reality slips away
While in my mind, my mind does sway
each passing day afflicts the body
I am not clear but cloudy
as I clasp my hands and pray
Praying you were here with me
I shed a tear for your smile
As I’d walk a country mile
Now, just for your touch I am now just only memories.

so sad am I
why did you have to go?
so sad am I
tears roll out my eyes
now, I am only memories.
your breath burns the soul
Sadden so sad I am
the sadness torments
darkness is my only companion
run out those thoughts of dominion
I am not who you thought
forever in each passing day that brings such thoughts
Sadden so sad I am
your memories faded now my life's constant toll
each passing day afflicts the mind
your memory is my only companion I've forgotten you
For I may never understand
what you wanted from me
was togetherness not loneness completely
so sad am I

Don't cry
Time is precious, but runs out
loneliness is my only companion, but naught
forever in darkness, night
the grief torments restlessness(what) freight
the grief afflicts reason and rhyme
our dreams lost in time
you ask why
I say just this...don't cry

The time,
urge control
in the passage
that touch us,
what we are
than we were
yesterday...
It's up to us
watch today with
eyes of
tomorrow,
deconstruct
measures
undone yesterday
at what
afflicts us
in what us
embarrass ...!

The bird was chirping
The man was working
The door creaked
The woman shrieked
The woman wrote
The man spoke
The leaf danced
The horse pranced
The chicken squawked
The child talked
The dog barked
The car parked
An elderly man running
A young girl is sunning
A tune is playing
An old man is praying
The sun is rising
A company is downsizing
A jazz tune is heard
A buffalo herd
The clouds form
Executives brainstorm
The weatherman predicts
A man's cold afflicts
A bell is heard
Commencement incurred
A leaf fell
It is brisk, I can tell
A violent siege
A brainstorming Gottlieb frege
Footsteps on scattered leaves
A hungry man at a foodbank receives

Hidden curse of fibromyalgia - the invisible disease
I have been suffering
from the mysterious illness
fibromalygia
fibromalygia is a hidden disease
many people
think it is all in one’s head
that there is nothing real
about the fake pain
that afflicts us
that we are maligners
backsliders
not seriously ill at all
and most people
think that it is disease
of middle age and old woman
than men don’t get it
and that is one
of the most pernicious effects
of this disease
I have been suffering
in silence for decades
the disease is real
for me
I have pain
everywhere
all the time
it come and goes
but is always there
and no matter
what I do
I have not had
a day without pain
for decades now
and will probably
just endure
until the day I die
that is the curse
of this damn fibromalygia
real pain in the real world
but a hidden disease
from the rest of the world
