i once looked up to you
a child only seees things through
inocent eyes
i looked up to you even afer what you did to the woman i was a reflection of
i looked up to you even after the bars closed where youd rest your head
i looked up to you when for some reason i had to walk past you pretending i didnt know you
I looked up to you even when youd pass me that joint
i looked up to you even when i would through up from the bottle you passed me and told me to have fun
but i stopped looking up to you when the white line you so graciously passed me filled my nose
and the pipe would pass from you to your friend who caressed my breast and you didnt flinch
i stopped looking up to you when your knees whould hit the ground so you could find that invisible rock that Definitely did not hit the ground
i stopped looking up to you when my life was no longer existing to you and i had to care for my sister.
you turned on me when i fought so hard to never turn on you.
i stopped looking up to you when you became a grandpa and we were sent out in the cold because the rock on the ground gave you more love then you wanted

Breaking through day,
the last night,
where the mirror
on glass lips posed
for a new moon,
that only masked
its face in ebony
brims of space
trapping in my ache,
with cedar pandoras
making the bleakest
of songs; a
viridescent heart—
under sylvan skin;
back to sun's cloned moon;
her moody phases
cut you, while
salt gives the
macadam a required
taste— alone,
with an empiricism
of waste; but in a
candle's whiffs,
the flames—
round and round in
my head— afer an
evening's quivering
prayers, fixated on
poppies in morning—
breaking through day.

Incoherent Rain
October 4, 2013 at 7:54am
Ask me why there is no one left
I will tell you what
came afer the storm.
it was forever calm
because there was no-one left
Wind stopped blowing
fires stopped burning
Sunami stooped sunami-ing
Fish floating, boats capsided.
chapel for sea gulls now a
light house,burning
guiding lights snuffed
power out of control
Where is tomorrow
there will be no tomorrow
forever dusk
Who has seen the light
of day.?
Can anyone tell me what
truth smells like
What radiation taste like
Is there another
word for manhood
This breath we use to
utter is short
slow motion
slower-
cant pronounce my words
The grid is burning
puters not working
incommunicado
Theres a hole in the dyke
Make haste while the sunshines
to late to be heard cannot
see in pitch blackness
So scary when
Niagara Falls
stopped flowing
The yelling stopped
After the bombs dropped
Hiroshima toxic gas
The news
Haiti-
New Orleans
Vietnam
New york
cuba -
Who's allowed to
live until they die
these days.
When humans float like debris'
can the dignity be restored
too many of us newly old
and children of poor children.

Fire in the rain..
i cant stay in my lane.
the truths been slain..
or are these just visions in my brain??
i dont know how people can refrain..
me i can't contain..
everyones got some stain..
even d simple ones aint plain..
i've just watched a man duped for some gain..
By someone i thought was a saint..
afer the deed had been done, we looked @ each otheR,
and there was shame..
I asked her, why this gaMe?
she replied, most of my business i go by air planes..
The cost of economy, and business class aint thesame..
someones gotta pay..
she winked @ me, and i smiled back in disdaiN..
God please, kill this fire..and leave d RaiN.

Beauty graced the sky and earth that very day
Master painter's painbrush painted the clouds some with apricot~ such a hue
Surrounding these with three shades of blue..
"This is not enough", said He..
Then like magic from the Painter's brush appears a perfect reflection of the sky upon
the earth ~beautiful blue and apricot reflecting from rain drenched country road..
Snow of white, clean as bleached sheets that hang upon a country clothesline, stays
back to let the mirrored image shine...
Such quiet afer a storm reminds me of a quote from a writer that I know~Constance
La France who once wrote, "I have dipped my pen in the sublime, it is my gift to
you."
With one stroke, God's paintbrush impressed upon my mind a sense of the grandeur
and power of His abilities..A Creator that is Sublime

Nightmares that come are so bad I'm afraid to sleep
Exhaustion enters making sleep needs reach their peak
A little light sleep to settle down falling falling deeply sound
The horror no no go away nightmares please dissipate
Same dreams every night since my darling baby cried
She nursed, very well fed in the morning she died
Nightmares night afer night awaking my baby I dread
Being rocked, rocked, rocked, looking down my baby's dead
(My adoptive mother lost a child, a little girl at age nine months old. Back then people used
home remedies very seldom saw a doctor. The child had been sick with a cold, mother fed
her and the next morning she was dead. The doctor who examined the corpse said that
she had had pneumonia and choked to dead on the mucous.)

A Renga:
On this quiet night
Under the moon's silver light
People are dreaming
As devas offer guidance
In the silence of a glance
A possum freezes
In the headlights of a car
That brakes just in time
"It makes a big difference,
All that new insulation."
While folding laundry
She makes plans for tomorrow
And for the next week
"I'm sorry you can't make it.
That's OK. Another time."
For him it's a song,
Even afer all these years,
The sound of her voice
Mingling with a steady wind
And the falling plum blossoms
Starlings are in flight
During the long, slow sunset
Clouds of red and gold
She begins her second job,
The bills just keep coming in
The weather report:
At least five more days of heat,
And no rain in sight
In an abandoned building
A runaway finds a home

is it love every time i see you smile
i see a picture of us walkng the aisle
is it love when i flip afer kissing your honey dew lips
is it love when your touch is to much
is it love when i melt when by you im being held
tell me what is it is it love
the kind that god bless from above
or is it lust the kind that leave my heart crushed

She was always a rainbow afer a storm...
She was always a flower in a field of thorns...
She was always a lantern on a dark pathway...
She was love in every way...
She was an island when the waters were high...
She was the one that dried the tears from my eyes...
She was the one that always told me to try...
She was an angel on this earth as a mother should be...
She was so very loved by me...
She was such comfort on my sad and lonely days...
She was so precious in many ways...
She was a child of God and she walked in her faith...
My mother is an angel, and in Heaven she waits...
