His tears faded away
with the most concerning
image of tommorrow ever
seen
modern usage of a Jollux
man. Spearing to victory
or so he seemed
as he speared up
meat and cabbages
for the supper he
had planned.
It would exclude his wife
who wished him
to look to something more
healthy
as he would only smile
at the sight of fat and richly
savoring treats.
He used the term
Beef-witted to decribe her
as she only liked to
shame him
might she find support against him
with snoutflairs
aannd consorted people
"those who wished us apart:
mind you they seek tresure
and lack the concern for your
well being"
he told his wife as she
looked lustinhly at the folk
on the hot busy beach.
" might a need to be apart
from me find you with the studs
here watching you
My Darling?"
She frowned and spoke of his
wonderings as trival and him
as crazy: knowing that he
only wished her to
trusted and true to him

The Tempo of Life
Like metronome just pacing time,
the years click slowly by;
adagietto overtime,
the melody’s sad cry.
A once allegro symphony
so bold and full of joy,
my life was lush and so carefree,
a moment to enjoy.
But now the times are not so quick,
the tempo slowing down;
I hear the metronome’s dull click;
this song has shed its crown.
I long for tempo primo now;
I miss those carefree days;
my symphony must not allow
these melancholy ways.

You lay your head on my lap and the cat climbs on your chest
He greedily shares our caresses and is comforted in the warmth
we make together, as we paint this tender memento in soft light
He purrs his rumbling concerto; adagietto, adagio, adagissimo
until you both fall asleep; my left hand stroking your soft hair,
my right hand rests on his back, feeling you breathe, as if one
The rhythm of three hearts, of three chests falling and rising
is the syncopation of the soft vibrations of the two sleeping
and the one watching in silent awe and perfect gratitude
We float together, sailing on the dreamy seas of contentment
Would that this voyage be infinite; that is now my humble wish
But then, I feel this truth; this voyage, this time is indeed infinite
For if love is simple, as simple as this single moment in time
Then love is safe, as safe as the memory in this treasured image
And love is infinite, as infinite as the dreams of these voyagers

A vaporetto upon the sea
A love departs that could never be-
Tears trickle down face,
Mahler played at his slowest pace,
Langsum,adagietto-slow.
