(Cw toxic and abusive relationship )
Oh baby I am so in love
So go ahead and shoot me down
Hit me with your truck
Oh baby I hate you so much
So kiss me once with passion
But never when we
Keep your ing hands off me
But stay here by my side
Walking never hand in hand
‘Cos you have something to hide
Oh baby stay away from me
I hate your ing guts
Still wanna rearrange them tho
Cuz I’m a ing ****
Let’s go out and get some drinks
Maybe you’ll let me drive
I’m way too drunk and cannot see
But it, let me try
Maybe we will crash and burn
Thats alright by me
Both of us just wanna die
So Thats how it’ll be
Keep your ing hands off me
But stay here by my side
Walking never hand in hand
‘Cos you have to hide
Go and get your ing coke
I hope you overdose
I’ll hit you with the narcan
Girl, but I should let you choke
Keep your ing hands off me
But stay here by my side
Walking never hand in hand
‘Cos you have someone to hide
Someone to hide
Demoralizing
Love is an addiction, I
Cannot escape you.
If you are in an abusive relationship, please try to walk away and live. You deserve a chance to thrive; to find joy and happiness. Remember that no one deserves to be abused. Please take care and stay safe.
Domestic silence
By Michelle Morris

Domestic silence
Silences all of us
It stifles tears and
Strangles hearts
Domestic violence
Pushes boundaries
Brutality inflicted
For ego and power
It allows bruises
And broken bones
It allows shame
To have a home
It encourages indignities
To its victims
It perpetuates inequities
In relationships
It makes men
Into beasts
It makes women
Feel uneasy
No living being
Should suffer abuse
No one deserves
Trauma as a path
No one should fear
Loved ones' wrath
No one should live
In constant anguish
Don't let the silence
Kill your soul
Because the silence
Is evil's cloak
Speak up now
Before it's too late
Walk out the door
Instead of a body bag
Domestic silence
Is a global scourge
It kills our souls
And kills our world

You broke me
when I wanted to be free.
You broke me
more than anyone sees.
Trauma created loss,
I had to hit pause...
on life,
because continuing
hurt worse than a knife
to my chest,
you tried your best
to destroy me.
Your reach was further than it seemed,
you touched me
with ease.
You poisoned my soul,
you dug me a hole,
so down I fell
everyone could tell.
I felt like a sell out,
like I'm an alcoholic
and you're too stout.
So intense,
you're a true menace...
to society,
but you were my remedy
for so long.
I was so wrong
to trust you,
say it's not true,
how bad you tore me,
wide open
and planted a seed.
I screamed,
I tried to flee,
you held me down
and watched me bleed.
In an abusive relationship
In love with potential
Not leaving
This poem is not over
(this poem is finished, it's just not over)

I cry for my mother
because that voice, which is like a shear,
presses its blade unto her skin—
drip — gore oozes from the wound; she doesn’t shed a tear,
but i feel it within.
that voice, which is like a shark,
sinks its teeth around her head—
slowly enough to hear the crunch of her skull,
But i feel it instead.
That voice, which is like a noose,
tightens its rope around her throat—
not even a whisper gets loose,
feeling it too, I’m choked.
I cry for my mother
because that voice used to belong to her lover
but now it cuts her and she suffers,
I wish for a father who loves and loves her
Do it have to take violence for me to stay with you?
or is violence all you know?
Do you see me as a puppet?
just play with the strings whenever you like?
or your just scared of being alone.
Did you forget you feel pain like me?
did you forget you have feelings like me?
do you really think I'm so inferior to you?
or do you denied the truth?
beneath those evil ways;
your weak at heart an feel inferior to the world.
Your just a fool,
with meaningless morals,
your so pathetic,
your making yourself suffer.
Continue playing god,
continue having that smirk on your face,
live the life full of regrets,
that won't show you no mercy.
The ink on my hands is the poet in me.
And she’s bleeding.
She wants her hands on the page again
And is tearing me apart
To put me back together
Word by word on
Paper.
Letter by letter on
Page.
It’s an abusive relationship
She’s feeding off my discontent my
Sadness my
Emptiness my
Pain.
But she’s not adding to it.
And when the tsunami overtakes me
She runs towards it with a surfboard.
Doesn't care if I’m breathing or not.
But I have to be living or else
Where would her words pour
Out of?
The words on my wall is the poet it me.
Saying she’s never
Far.
The lines on my body and
Soul
Are from her
You should know
Us poets
Cry words, we
Scar letters
And bleed ink.
THE WOMAN IN ME
she sometimes wears stilletos
but she comes from the ghettos,
she has a fine taste in music
she hates music of broken hearts
and crying children.
she loves gardens and the smell of freshly roses
she is a hopeless romantic,
yet she does not love romance but fun.
she wears turban for thoughts as she wraps her mind
with wisdom.
she wears her nails ,as tough as wrinkles
she keeps claws so she scratch her way out of abusive relationship.
she knows disco lights but she keeps her body
indoors for police lights come in sirens to have her body
to dance for music of insults or pay with her thighs.
she wears make ups sometimes,
she hates to see black eyes on her and fake smile.
she is curious, men call her medusa
as she leaves them as stones-tombstones.
she is an emotional wreck, she throw tantrums like mood swings
she gave birth to tornadoes when she lost her wings.
she wears lip stick but she can swallow a man
without her mouth,
no man wants a woman with a mouth.

Marriage is for better or worse!
Is divorce necessary to avoid a multiplication of troubles?
Sometimes, we should learn to accept things as they unfold,
If you forced to stay in the abusive relationship,
Maybe you wouldn't be where you are today,
But parted ways amicably and both of you are alive and doing very fine and well in life.

* In remembrance of my ex wife
I saw a pretty woman,
At the book store!
She was amazing,
As described in the folklore!
Her beauty glistened,
Under the yellow light!
I had to make sure,
She was within my eye sight!
‘What Men Want’,
Was the book she was reading!
I took a closer look,
N saw her right ear was bleeding!
Abused n tortured,
She was by her man!
I wonder whether she considered,
Hanging herself by the fan!
Humbled by her efforts,
To satisfy her man!
I wished I could go there,
N give her a hand!
Dedicated to all ‘Tortured Soul’s’ who have been or are in an abusive relationship, just
because they love their better half immensely!
Let us all say NO to Domestic Violence.
I'm running so fast.
so fast.
I can't slow down.
slow down.
I can't let him catch up.
I have to get away from to you.
You're all i ever wanted.
You know that.
You always hurt me.
I know that.
I have no idea how to get away.
All I can do is run.
All I'll be is a run away kid.
I can't stay in a abusive relationship.
I'm just a kid.
To say I’ve endured pain is an understatement at best
A past abusive relationship; too painful to put to rest
Blows, torture and torment surrounding everyday life
Never fully recovering, still piercing me with his knife
Cuts, bruises and gashes; open wounds painfully show
Of the agony and suffering of an abuser I now no longer know
The past pain and misery was putrid, and nothing could compare
To the horrendous life he gave to me of solitude and despair
Then as time went by and I grew up and children I did bare
The pain I suffered previously, seemed to vanish in mid air
Looking at my child crying, as the tears roll down upon her face
It was then I finally realized, my pain had suddenly been replaced
Nothing can compare to your child’s flowing tears of pain
The pain I felt was just a fraction of my child’s dire bane
The worse pain I’ve felt in life was watching my child in need
Nothing could ever compare to your child’s crying hurtful pleads

I look to good to be wearing that.
I look to good to be having kids.
I look to good to be getting rough.
I look to good to just settle for less than i'm worth.
I look to good to just holla at anyone.
To give my love away to someone who doesn't deserve it.
I look to good to stay in an abusive relationship.
I look to good to be nervous when i'm near you.
But I am and it scares me.
When it comes to you and me my confidence goes so low it's crazy.
Maybe it's because your a mystery.
I look into your eyes and I can't read them.
Maybe it's because your opinion matters most.
Your words could break me and because of that i'm so fragile.
I look to good to be doubting myself.
But when I get around you I doubt everything.
Being in love is making me less concieted and more real.
I'm not concieted just confident but around you I have no idea what I am.
Concieted not even.
I run in the dirt and put on unironed jeans.
My image is whatever I want it to be.
I am a modest person who doesn't fish for compliments.
Sometimes i'm insecure.
Sometimes I think you don't notice or care.
But that's just me being myself.
An abusive relationship? Nope not me.See I have something called a threatened
love life. It started off sweet.Him wanting to take me to the ends of the earth. Gave
me Jewry, diamonds, car, anything you could imagine. So did I accept the gifts
from him.Nope I told him that I didn't want all that and that all I needed was him.
He still didn't get it all I wanted was him. A threatened love life was what I was
asking for. So what happened?Well I started to notice changes. Lies about
everything. Then I knew this love was falling apart. After I told him the love for him
was gone he went and found it else where. How did I solve it?Solve what. You
know the threatened love life situation. Easy I went to our....my garage grabbed a
hammer smashed out his lights, windows, and mirrors. Then made sure I gave
him some un fixable dents. Was that all. Not even close. Then I went and got all of
his things. Took them outside and set them up in flames.Waited till he got in and
when he arrived he knew what was happening. There was no way I could take
him no more. I turned him towards the door and told him to get the stepping. A
threatened love life no more I'm sure.
