Always so polished,
but emotions need to be raw;
Covered and stained with blood
drained all over the paper;
Everything becomes transparent
forming the pauses and lines;
Governed by larger than life
hoping for one graceful phrase;
‘I am interested in poetry.’ you say
just as I turn away;
Knife wielded but simple bounces
laughing as I fall inspired;
Maddening so please just go;
Never mind the sparks you left
on the crevices of my skin;
Pretend the illusions I lean on are real,
quiet me in the loudest moments;
Remedy me instead of this torment!
So I try, I say goodbye to you
today but you’re back again tomorrow;
Under my skin feeding my soul
vessel you have apparently hijacked;
When will it end?
X should be drawn or a check mark,
you just keep on writing all over me;
Zephyr of the Muse you’re out of control.

Our Seasons are a blessing, as they also represent
the cycle of life- and Spring is our symbol of Rebirth.

D ear Daffodils to soon emerge,
E nhancing scenes with pastel splash-
