Zoo By the Sea

San Diego's zoo
by the sea, the place to be
in February

Home to wild nature's exotic elite
From stately giraffes to meerkats petite
But signs warn their creed
'These beasts, do not feed'
So the free roaming squirrels get the treats!

Tigers and monkeys may get all the looks, but squirrels get all the love~

Perhaps people read the signs the 'old-fashioned' way: 'No Feeding the Squirrels Allowed' = No! -- Feeding the Squirrels Allowed! This is the way kids used to read signs such as: No Littering Allowed...
