Ah! You made me feel young again. What fun. I was a great fan of Alan Watts for a long time, in later years, Tibetan Buddhism… I was blessed by the Karmapa of Tibet. He is one rank lower than the Dalai Lama A mind blowing ceremony! Fascinating Monoku. Pangie xx

You certainly possess an extremely diverse life experience Pangie, I think in this one I’m trying to express the Incomprehensibility of zen nihilism, life appears to me, to be the only byproduct of oblivion, cheers David

Exactly Sir Simply well put No 1 knows Or for that matter Is probably likely going to find out either Or shall i say rather for those who believe Has ever this far come back to life to tell us Likewise they didn't exist before they were born Now that to me sounds like my kind of version of Heaven Happens nightly right in-between sleep and waking up Then it all goes to hell

Exactly cant remember what poem it was you wrote. But you were right when that time and date comes to us all eventually. I am sure as hell i will have a rethink and pray for just a little more time As ive now somehow or other managed to get my second wind Constantly complaining in life and death

I like your sleep analogy Christopher, I’ve often woken up, and thought why couldn’t I just have stayed in peaceful bliss, but then other times I’ve woken up thinking, glad I was only dreaming, blink and you will miss death, from your own perspective anyway, cheers David

I don't recall being born, and I sure as heck hope I will never have to recall my death. I enjoyed the repartee between you and Lasaad, David. You always give pause for my thinking on where your mind travels, unravels, or weaves a new path to wander.

Thanks Lin, as seen from my perspective of course, I do have an abstract vision of eternity that makes sense to me, I’ve written many in depth poems on this theme in the past, so this time condensed it down into a monoku, that’s undisprovable in any real sense, cheers David

David, your Monoku was beautifully crafted. It evoked a profound contemplation on the cycle of life, capturing the essence of birth, death, and the enigmatic journey that lies in between, all within a succinct arrangement of words.

Thank you Lasaad, you see more into my Monoku than perhaps most do, oblivion is not possible to perceive unless living, we will always be alive from our own perspective, cheers David

I seem to recall (on day one) thinking, ‘I don’t know where I was this time last year… but I’m pretty sure no bast*rd slapped my ass.’ Smart deliberation, David
