Zahra
Zahra was a woman and erotically lovely
Youthful, beautiful and passionate
Xanadu, an ice mountain paradise was her existence
Where she lived with her lover, a
Vampire, two hundred years un-dead
Utterly intoxicating was this man
Together they dwelled in bliss
Sublime and spiritual was their lovemaking
Rapturous murmurs of forever life his promise
Quivering, she whispered her deep love
Possession and control was his
Often he left their paradise to hunt
Never-failing to find the red blood they drank
Moments of madness haunted her
Leaving her life behind was her sadness
Kissing him always calmed her dead heart
Just before dawn they climbed inside an ornate coffin
Intertwined in each other arms
Hypnotic was his hold on beautiful Zahra
Gentle his cold touch
Flawless was their un-dead existence
Entrancing and ethereal is how she perceived him
Divine and desirable she could not resist
Charming her was easy for this dark un-dead man
Bedazzling her with whispered words and promises
And keeping her, his love prisoner . . .
