You'Ve Given Me a Beautiful Life
your surface me...
like strong pebbles on a beach-
you bring me joy when
it's too far from reach.
you complete me...
like emerald petals on a white rose-
you reach depths that
no one sees or knows.
like a reverie...
you drown each sense I've been given-
you've created such a
beautiful world to live in.
your gentle hands embrace
like an ivory dove in flight-
and at night your kisses
on my thirsty nape do invite.
for there will never be another mate connected to my soul-
cuz' you, my beloved, have devoured me and made me whole.
