Your Words and Mine
Isn’t it amazing we use the same words?
But in a different order and claim it to be our own
Of situation we know, make it rhyme
And call it a poem
We sit for ten minutes to a day
Shuffling the words which isn’t a dig deal
Yet we end up with a saying
That give others a taste of what we feel
The same words can make them laugh and cry
Rearrange them again
And they will drown in love or question why?
Write of loss and they sense pain
Your words and mine
A mix and match from a pile
To tantalise the emotions
With our own poetry style
