Your Single Glance
Your single glance left me stranded for a whole afternoon
as if never before that moment any woman looked at me
or never in my life before I looked at the full moon
in your emerald green eyes memories of a distant sea.
You never knew so many poems were sleeping in your glance
from that moment one by one they woke up in my mind
in my mind now thousand poems bathing in romance
you made me a better poet but made me also blind.
