Your Newborn Is So Cute

There is nothing as ugly as a newborn baby. But we all try to pretend it is magnificently pretty or handsome. Full force lying now. It’s not easy to do. And then there is that chronic cat like whine-bawling. I feel a permanent unnatural smile paste itself onto my lips. I would rather hear fingernails go up and down a blackboard. What a cute baby I lie.

I don't know; we must have a different optometrist or something. I find most babies quite cute -- even if they do like wrinkled prunes with bad cases of constipation. lol. :) gw

So true, but we all do it. Can you imagine telling a parent of a newborn that their baby is ugly as sin??? Not me!

In some sense, you are right. A new born smeared in amniotic fluid and skin crinkled often looks ugly before being cleaned up. But we often lie that it is so cute ! Enjoyed this semi witty poem

I think they are wonderfully cute at about two months though.
