Your Life the Lie
Laughter and fun times
Memories and truths
Lifes most treasured tales
Times without you.
Promises unkept
Lies that were told
Memories made up
Identity unknown.
Gifts on a holiday
Hugs here and there
Kisses as you left
Bottles by the bed.
Late night talks
The ones when you were drunk
Drugs when I wasn't\\'t looking
Hidden in a box.
Feelings always kept secret from
The one who cared the most
Lost to you forever
No longer any hope
Adulthood too early
A childhood I lost
See you across the desert
Between the now and then
Never to say I love you
Or to feel my gentle hug.
Goodbye to the emptiness
Goodbye to the lies
Goobye to a mother I never knew
Goodbye to my old life
