Your Last Day
Your Last Day
By: Tom Wright
6/3/98
If granted but one more day to live,
with knowledge in advance.
Could you find love in which to give,
thanking, God, for this chance.
Could you talk boldly of God's love,
of things He's done for you?
Or scarcely lift your eyes above,
for to, God, you've been untrue.
Would this last day be spent in prayer? *
Is this your normal day?
As you talk to family could you dare,
find proper words to say?
We should live each day as if our last,
that we might reach some.
With joy, to witness, pray and fast,
in love, should Jesus come.
* Would you have to use your last day praying
for yourself instead of others?
