Your Conscience

As if I were a dream I creep inside your mind Traveling through your emotions Exploring your mystery Searching your thoughts Trying to find your deepest fears Wanting only to cure you of them Longing only to provide you with the security you deserve As the journey continues, Alarmed am I to find Not your fears, but, Your love Hidden away Trapped in the psychological boundaries of your brain Say that you will let me in Say that I can be the one to break down those barriers Say that I am the one you’ve been waiting for Let go of your fears, For I am here Rid yourself of insecurity and doubt Forget your regrets, forget your past Have faith in me Have faith in us Allow yourself to trust love once again No matter what it takes, Be it one whisper One song One voice One touch Or one kiss I’ll be there You don’t have to search You don’t have to wonder Because like your conscience, I’m always here... In your mind
