You Would Rather Lie Than Tell the Truth
How many days have you had this?
Dare I admit nine days?
I have already lost three days of work.
Should I lie?
I remain silent.
Pondering my answers.
Wondering what difference it will make to tell the truth?
You would rather lie than tell the truth my husband always says.
He is not wrong.
