You Too Can Fly

Sweetest song high up in the treetops wearing morning light and dewdrops, little bird on my shoulder; It landed on me without a sound carrying daydreams down to the ground at the edge of a tattoo; Tilted it’s head to the left then right ebony eyes and a voice so bright, singing but a single chirp; Don’t let your life be a passing glance from the tip of your toes take a chance; Take off and you too can fly.
