You Surface Me
You SURFACE me like pebbles along a distant shore,
e n c o m p a s s me like a tide in the sand in mid-June.
Ivory doves fly over the mount and sing your tune,
for my adoration runs as deep as the ocean floor.
When I am d r o w n i n g in woe your touch does RESTORE.
I never knew thirst until you QUENCHED me with d e s i r e.
My starvation is satisfied with one touch of your hand.
Now I never wish to return to the dry forsaken land,
for our p a s s i o n has been kindled by ardor's fire.
My love...you bestow all the HEARTFELT love I require.
