A very moving poem, Chris. Esp since the back story behind it is revealed. A very touching memorial, my poetic friend. That is always a sad affair when we don't get say goodbye properly. Beautiful poem though. Love and peace always.

Thanks Freddie, I think the fact that I didn't get to the hospital in time will always be one of the saddest days of my life. But I guess everything happens for a reason. Thanks again my friend.

Sad when it starts with Hello and Hi ...and ends with Gone and Goodbye...May be it should be 'Until we meet again,even if its close to never'..Somehow easier to let go.:)

Thank you Charmaine, I wrote this a few years ago for a friend who died before I had the opportunity to say good bye to her. This was my good bye. Hopefully we will see each other again some day, but you never know. Thank you for your kind words.
