You Must Ignore the Duck
We have one hard rule at our dinner table.
Don’t pay extra attention to the duck said Mable.
I had no idea what this meant, but my hunger was at stake.
They were having a dessert of pineapple upside down cake
So I agreed to not pay any attention to the duck
She sat next to me on the table yelling out “truck!” and “muck!”
She went through the alphabet which meant she used the f’s too.
Ignoring this baby duck now was ever so hard not to do.
