You Listen To Me

You take my little tantrums... You listen through my pity party and gently remind me You still love me No, "I told you so" but gentle whisperings of things I've ignored Your words and I know You know what's best You take my ingratitude... but then again you speak to me through the eyes filled with tears through the images that won't let me be Stuck in the world of complacency You speak to me You take my questionings... and you let me rant and rave Knowing you can save Knowing in the end I'll face that same grave as everyone else and so You wait.... wanting me to see Beyond the now Into your eternity You take my questionings.... I don't know how to thank you the Master of the Universe and yet... you come down to me and talk to me and hold me and sing to me and love me unconditionally.... No one else does No one else will Love me like you do I know it's true and tonight, Lord tonight I just want to say... Thank You. Eileen Manassian Ghali

Thank you, Justin. I've just finished reading Colossians chapter 3 and 4. Paul is my favorite Bible author. There is so much comfort I find in his words. What is most beautiful about His love is that it is unconditional and not based on how good, beautiful, or accomplished I am. It's just because....I appreciate your visit so much, Justin. You are a wonderful writer, and I love reading your work.

Thank you, Laura. I have missed spending time with Him. A lot of times I tend to stay away if I know that I'm not living according to His will....I have a stubborn streak in me, but....I never doubt His love. I know that He is patient, but I also know he wants me to obey. I spent some time reading my favorite Bible author this morning, Paul...."Set your minds on things above not earthly things".... :) Thanks for the visit, dear....Hugs

Yes, I'm much better. Thank you, dear. Spending time with God gives a new perspective to things. I've missed it. I strongly believe that there is an eternity waiting for those who have chosen to put God first in their lives. Then there will be no more sorrow, pain, death, sickness, war. There is a heaven to come. That's what I believe. It helps me when this life gets too much to bear. Thanks for your visit, dear. :) Always a pleasure...Hugs

I LOVE that song. When my daughter first introduced it to me....It moved me at such a deep level that I burst out in tears and cried for some time....."Who am I that the Lord of all the earth...would choose to know my name...would choose to heal my hurt....who am I that the eyes that see my sin....would look at my with love...and help me rise again." Yes, that song is a masterpiece by Casting Crowns. Thanks for the visit, dear. Keep me in your prayers....HUGS
