You Haven'T Lived Until

You haven't lived until you have seen a baby smile for the first time, Even better for you if it was due to your mime. Or been the cause that made a baby giggle, When you recited that silly little riddle. It takes so little to make a baby smile, It takes so little to make a baby giggle, Yet so few have had that pleasure, And many will regret that at their leisure.

Thank you. I was rather pleased how it turned out. Good when others think so too. I wanted to highlight how much pleasure babies can give if we take the time to notice, which sadly many do not. Have a good week. best wishes from David in NZ

I was an Early Childhood Teacher for 30 years. A fair portion of that was with babies. I self-published a book to draw attention to the state Of ece in NZ. called "suffer the little children" through xlibris. I agree with you about babies making us smile. Thanks for kind comments. Always pleasing when a piece like this gels. Fondest regards David
