You Have Arrived
The New Year is finally here,
and the excitement is over.
How fast did this year appear,
my mind is trapped in yesteryear.
Because of failed accomplishments,
and shattered dreams I held dear.
What will this new year entail?
will I reach my goals? Or fail?
Whatever is the case I must try,
to live my dreams to no avail.
Will I make a new year's resolution? No
I feel bad when I have nothing to show.
I will continue set goals whether I fail or not,
all that really matters is I gave it my best shot.
This new year I plan to live my life with zest,
by not looking back, however it's a difficult test.
