You Had a Crush On Her

You had a crush on her You had a crush on her Being sure as well Love is what you felt, Dating her exclusively Without ever telling her. She indulged in your care Like you were her kid-brother, And you rejoiced finding passion In proximity of her splendor, Feeling mighty blessed When she wrapped you in a hug. You didn’t know how to ask What kind of love that was, Had no clue how to talk about The flutter in your heart, And now you're too grown-up to ask Yet, you are dying to find out If she ever connected the dots. Oh Vijay, a man hasn't truly lived if he doesn't have lost loves to look back upon! Congrats my friend.

Hi Vijay, I can surely relate to this my friend. It is so easy to see the scene through your wonderful works. Many are the crushes I have had, from high school on. I gave up having crushes about four to five years ago. Love sings onto the page. You have expressed the feelings so well my friend. Have a wonderful Tuesday. Your friend always....Mike.

Oh, yes! Have we not all of us felt these rushes of passion for a person who may never have known the depth of our true love and devotion. Thank you, Man!

This is a sad but great poem Vijay. I am sure many can relate to this and you told this so perfectly that many thought back to their first crush and wished they had that courage that is lacking in this poem. A magnificent write.

Hmmm, if she is not showing him the same affection back, she must not want to connect the dots! I like this, Vijay. I had a few crushes in my youth and they sure do make a person heartsick!!

How many potential love stories have been squelched by a lack of courage? This is so well expressed. Sweet and sad rolled into one.

I used to have a crush on our Priest, mind you I was only 7years old, and he was the handsomest man I ever seen, until I was eight and met for the first time a white man with the bluest eyes and blond hair. I told our priest I can't marry him anymore because I will be marrying an American white man with blue eyes. He said he was heartbroken but he must let me follow my dream. Lol! Hope this made you smile :)
