You Don'T Hear My Cry
I am a human, with life
Hoping to see the light
I can hear you speak, and taste your every bite
I can’t touch you yet, but I can’t wait for you to hold me
I can keep you company, I always hear you say you’re lonely
I know your frustrated, or in some kind of pain
It keeps me awake, I hope I’m not to blame
I know I kick a lot sometimes, or make you kinda nauseous
But I don’t mean to make you mad,
I will make it up to you, I promise
I love you so much mom, I wish you could see my face
In hope that it’d bring you comfort, and take you to another place
A place of happiness and joy, where it’s just you and me
We can play together always… laugh… and be free
Away from all the heartache & problems
That’s causing all your trauma.
I want nothing more in life than to one day call you “mama”
I heard you talking to the Dr today mom,
Telling him you don’t want me
How can you say that? I was supposed to make you happy!
I’m screaming and crying inside begging you to let me stay
I promised I’d make it up to you mom
Please don’t make me go away
You are supposed to protect me, and shelter me from all my fears
Now I’m scared of you the most, you’re causing all these tears
You don’t hear my cry mom? I don’t think you can
If you could, you wouldn’t be doing this
This wasn’t part of the plan
We were supposed to be together mom
I guess my journey has to end
One that never started
But I’ll be accepted in heaven.
Goodbye Mom
Sincerely,
Your unborn child
