You Can Do It Grandma

I watch her jump rope, A new skill for her She has so much hope She looks so mature You can do it grandma! I feel like a dope I hem and I haw Then I try to jump rope When did this get so hard? Determined, I frown They are all in the yard I soon land on the ground She claps her hands with glee Happier child could not be found So insanely proud of me Grandma, you are the best jumper in town!

This is adorable... and so easy to relate to! I was shocked (the last time I tried to jump rope) at how hard it is now! I can't seem to hoola-hoop now either for some reason! Oh well, evidently the kids get a kick out of it either way... lol

I used to do cartwheels, hoola-hoop and jump rope. It is "all gone" now.

Thank you Demetrios. I do try to please my grandchildren. I have failed miserably in the "learn how to press all the right buttons on the video game console" though.
