You Are Historical

You are historical the six-year-old says. He is glaring at me full out. I know he thinks being historical is something bad. “Hysterical?” I guess, thinking he is going for sarcasm. He shakes his head NO. His eyes are dark. He is angry with me. I never do figure out what the word is But I sure do understand the body language.

Sounds about right! LOL! The boy may not mean hysterical but the situation is. My grandson brought home a cheerleading paper saying he could hold the cheerleaders up…yup a heartbreaker already.

And, I wonder if he ever tells you why he is angry with you. Is this the boy who you caught running in the lunchroom? I'll bet that's it because you said he was the least likely kid to do that. Getting caught would have been a real downer for him.

Sometimes they are angry with ALL of us - school is the enemy. They learn this from home.

Not in a million years! I did do a lot of counseling over the years, however when I was a pastor. I'd be the last person here who would attempt to analyze anyone! Thanks for your thoughts.
