Yesterday thin ice upon the birdbath.
Birdbath
Today it is thawed water and comfortable.
Comfortable
For the lowly sparrow who now bathes.
Bathes
And splashes, then jumps down.
Down
Among the seed from dead plants.
Plants
Longing for the warmth of spring.
Spring!!

Psalm 28:7
New Living Translation
7 The Lord is my strength and shield.
I trust him with all my heart.
He helps me, and my heart is filled with joy.
I burst out in songs of thanksgiving
