Yesterday thin ice upon the birdbath. Birdbath Today it is thawed water and comfortable. Comfortable For the lowly sparrow who now bathes. Bathes And splashes, then jumps down. Down Among the seed from dead plants. Plants Longing for the warmth of spring. Spring!!

Your poem-- dwelling in nature--true to real life-- with birds frolicking after winter thaw. Great images, Sara.
