My heart is heavy. They know...they know... but what does it matter! No one can or will do anything to stop the madness! What good does it do to discuss after lives are taken?

FEBRUARY 14th, 2018 was Ash Wednesday and Valentine’s Day. A meaningful day, a day where happiness is found in exchanging flowers and cards. A day that lightens up the workload of school. Fun for students and teachers. A day where some show up with ashes on the forehead to signify the beginning of Lent and 40 days from Resurrection Sunday. A day where one lone gunman decides to rob families of their joy. The final line is to say our system failed. YESTERDAY a day of fragile hearts and ash faces love and hate in eyeball stare — again our children failed 2/15/207

Such a horrific tragedy, sadly all too common these days.I feel for all those families affected their lives changed forever by the actions of one person.what a sad world we live in.

I think a lot of things are hyped up in the media.. He was going to mental health classes but had stopped, and the FBI had warned teachers at the school.. But he was not at school anymore, so it would have been difficult to monitor him.. The sad thing is the GOVT is too focues on monitoring other people and these people who are a rist to others are lost in the sytem.. Horrific and sad..

A horrific event and how sad the focus has been on guns and now white supremists, rahter than focusing on those who died..
