Where did our yesterdays go? I wish we could go back there To where our love would flow And hold hands without despair Because yesterday you loved me But today you just smirk I gave you the key to my heart All you gave me was hurt Yesterday was perfect Everything was so right Today I'm a wreck And all we can seem to do is fight Yesterday we kissed And you told me you care Today you are missed I wish you'd come around but you wouldn't dare Yesterday the nights were warm and bright Asleep with my pillow and you in my mind Today it's dark and I can't find the light Everything is black and I'm falling behind Today I have to keep myself busy And avoid letting my thoughts drift away Trying to resist misery But at least I'll always have yesterday
