Years of Love
A poem for my daughters birthday
My little girl is 33
Years going fast as they can be
She's not so little anymore
All the love I used to pour
Into younger days will be
Inside my hearts memory
She knows I'll always be there
For her I will always care
There will never be a day
She won't ever hear me say
I love you and that's a promise
I will keep so you can flourish
Flying free and on your own
Now that you are fully grown
