Years End
Years End
Written: by Miracle Man

Today is the penultimate day of December,
And I’m being transported to harsh things I remember.
In the year twenty-twenty I must dispense any fear,
Putting my trust in God to begin this new year.
Trusting in an earthly man and I’m doomed to fail,
For man will disappoint me and my witness will pale.
Lord help me to witness to those sitting in darkness,
Who subsist under bridges and on streets in starkness.
As I witness each day, leading up to Sundays,
I’ll begin each morning by giving YOU due praise.
