Last year is now gone, another began- past memories soon filed away. Cast now in our minds- the good with the bad; vast are the reviews we can weigh. For finding the good- if healthy we were- or happy for most of the time; more visits we shared with family, friends- score those as a plus- year was prime! Sweat those ups and downs, as yin follows yang- set firmly with good and/or bad. Fret those loved ones lost from illness and death- let happiness in- blur the sad. Face every new day- fill each as we can; chase worries- keep fine goals in line. Place the full ones in with those empty few- grace blessings that made the year shine. Sandra M. Dear Sandra, this pretty much sums up my Christmas letter! Good, bad, this too shall pass. Take the full days with the empty ones. Grace is the operative word. I love your writing, please keep sharing your wonderful insights in verse my friend. Hugs ~ John
