Write a Little Poem
Write a little poem?
Why the heck not?
So here it is.
Dot. Dot. Dot. Dot.
Write your feelings.
Well that’s another thing
I smile and laugh
With a zing, zip, zing.
Write your truth.
Sure, and they won’t mind.
Do I need to be subtle?
Or mean? Snotty or kind?
Write a little poem.
It’s not that easy to do.
So I guess I’ll just skip the writing
And take a walk with you.
