Notes About The Poem

Wrestling With His Tights - Bawdy Limerick

A wrestler whose first name is Bill Wears tights (but he’s over the hill) He shoves down a sock To enhance his cock It sure gives the ladies a thrill! Now Bill’s a really proud macho guy And keeps grey hair at bay with black dye Even though he’s a man He wears lots of fake tan And baby oil is in constant supply For Phyl with love from FC xx 05/06/17

Well Jan, you raise more than a smile with this one. Once again you put together an excellent Limerick. You are really so good at these writes. I need a laugh or a smile, i always know where to come and you always come through with something. I hope the fun shall always be within your writes and you keep being who you are. It is always a pleasure to read you. One more Limerick goes into my faves and this one is a definite seven. Hugs....Mike. XX

LOL, love this. I wrote a limerick today & kept it clean for Soup, but maybe they're allowing more freedom of speech lately? I wanted to finish mine with 'but shit was all over my rod.' (About fishing in the loo)

:) I guess if I start out with a smile, your limerick accomplished what it's supposed to do. :) Kind of a hard definition of bawdy. :) Kind of gettn' right to it. :)

I just read what you said to Ilene. A long time ago I too wrote limericks inspired by names of all the poets at a club I was in. I think I did at least 10 and they are all scattered here at Soup!!

There are some names I use a lot like Bully and Susie but some very recent poems have been written for folks I interact with on a chat site and they LOVE the fact I am writing about them and then get their permission to post the poems here:-) hugs Jan xx

ha ha ha - my on line friend 'Phyl' has seen the first poem but his colleagues said he dyes his hair wears fake tan and smears baby oil on his body so the second poem got written - I was worried it was a little too bawdy lol:-) hugs Jan xx
