Wounded Sigh

Although at the time, none knew the reason why, And all that could be heard was a wounded sigh; This was not a time to break down and cry. Some bowed and whispered a prayer as they passed by. The time would come later for the casting of the die; A time when every lie would face the truth eye to eye. For now, justice seekers must remain calm to be strong; To be energized to make right what has been wronged. When justice is well served, the wounded sigh of pain Will be lifted, and tears will express what they have gained.
