Who are you behind this screen I would truly like to know Let’s meet tomorrow for a coffee See how the conversation flows Just through our written words We have formed a connection But over coffee would we find We’d want to run in the opposite direction! Would we be disappointed in each other Feel awkward and just not click Our mind racing rapidly for an excuse To try and get away quick! Or would we meet for coffee And it was as we expected Like we’d known each other a lifetime Meeting, the best idea suggested How interesting it would be If we could be a real life friend Or is our connection solely Through the words that we pen?
