Would We Be
Where are the souls of angels that have perished
can they taste eternal life mankind so cherish.
Are we talking monkeys that have left mother tree
scavenging and searching for what used to be
Is God in His Heaven and Satan in his hell
is love just lust that fades in a thrill
If we are doom to die why do we strive to live
we take we break we forsake yet we preach to give
When the Dark was supreme and cloaked everything
where did light shiver and so clever claim it's reign
Befroe there was sin was it happier then
why is truth the root for us to be condemned
Eve bit an apple that a serpent professef
would open her eyes and to Adam she test
Temptation for knowledge to be like God
left mankind damn and cursed by His law
In the Garden of Eden what did Eve really need
If love stayed blind better off we would be?
