My life’s worthless without You, my Saviour*
my soul’s great fortress
from sin-woes’ distress...
You made a grand change in my behaviour
with Your divine might
showing me Your light.
Yes, You left Your glory just to seek me out
Leading me toward heaven without doubt...
You’re my being’s essence.
Pride prevails over me without Your grace
thus, I trust Your heart
midst unbelief’s dart...
I constantly need Your goodness’ embrace
warming me with joy
against guilt’s ploy...
You deserve my praises with full earnestness
To You I submit, trusting Your faithfulness...
You’re my being’s essence.
My world revolves around You – forever…
You hold my future
Of faith’s adventure...
Even final death can never sever
our relationship
of sweet fellowship.
May You find me pleasing You with my utmost
While serving You thru others at any cost.
You’re my being’s essence.
*Luke 1:47 And my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour.
Today, I thank You, dear God for Your love, sending to me Your Son Jesus Christ to be my Saviour. Thank You, dear Jesus, for dying on the cross, being buried, and rising again to save me from hell, granting me eternal life. I trust You. I put my faith in You while I repent of my sins. Thank You, Holy Spirit for enlightening me that only Jesus Christ can save me, and satisfy my soul. Amen.
