Worms!

Worms are grisly, quite abhorrent, slimy, and a world apart from style and character I'll warrant. All they do is wriggle, wiggle to distraction, captured by the early bird they're skewered to inaction Yet they aerate the soil, help in nature's grand design, think I'll print a full retraction they're not grisly, they're just fine!

I find that in life the deeper we look at things the more the resemble the better part of us ... each have a value and make a contribution to the ecology and our whole ... The poet's eye is well served by the poet's honesty here. Bravo.

They say every creature has an important role in the natural order of our environment. Not only do worms aerate soil, they also make great bait for freshwater fishing. And, unlike some creatures, they don't bite or pose any risk to man. Cute poem!

A true poet can write about anything and everything and you my friend just proved it. You're so silly today. You gotta love worms how many things can you break in half and still have two wriggly parts lol.
