Words That Greet

R-enewed light in the morning E-rases the dark evening cloud; N-ight shadows have turned I-nto a day of shine so proud. E-ternal spring of hope makes a million promises, R-ivers of grace never run dry, overflowing with happiness. C-all upon the Almighty O-n this warm sunny day; N-inth December dawn C-reates bright colors, not gray. E-ven though trials abound, P-ain, ache and sorrow too; C-heerful birth brings delight, I-f the skyline isn't blue. O-ne acrostic truly makes your heart hear its beat; N-ew sound of joy is taken from simple words that greet.

I see you like the acrostic form. The poems contrast easy and tough, happiness and sorrow. Very good contrasting.

Thanks, Toni... I've just found a way of greeting my social media friends on their birthdays through simple acrostic with contents almost similar to another. And I enjoy it very much..... I gladly treasure your comment, Toni....... God bless.....
