Words of Worth

When young they did not resonate Just annoying empty words Now in my older years There is absolute meaning in those words I heard “ If it doesn’t come from your heart, don’t say it” “If you don’t have anything nice to say ,then say nothing at all” Words I heard my whole childhood from my mum Now older….. it’s these sayings I recall! Uncomplicated ,simple sayings Now for me they hold such worth Words I “try” to live my life by This precious time I have on this earth!!
