The wonders of our heavenly Father are immense
Some moments that hold the most awe of His presence
Whisper soft intimacies, like a caress against naked skin,
Welcoming joy that comes from the blessed hope
Of a heavenly home where we will never again ache
With physical pain or mental anguish that sometimes
Leaves one feeling worse than any broken bone might
The wonders of our heavenly Father are colossal
Like a gentle breathe of faith touching the heart
He soothes fears away and relieves the grieving soul
Who wants to know where to go for some relief
And feels the joy inspired within when His hand
Reaches down to wipe away the tears and put
In their place, assurance and faith, blessed grace
The wonders of our heavenly Father are immeasurable
Painting the whole world in hues of compassion and
Hope that gives joy within, overflowing with a sense
Of appreciation and thanksgiving that comes from knowing
God’s wisdom and prudence, his sweet reassurance
Alive on the inside, dancing across the aspiring artist
With visions of artistic wonders, visions from heaven
The wonders of our heavenly Father are infinite
Skipping through our lives like sensations of spring
Lifting spirits and thrilling hearts with gentle dreams
Which raise the paupers of this world to a new place
Of sweetest mercy and clemency taken from prayers
From the ones who know forgiving peace within them
Where answers to pleas for happiness come alive
The wonders of our heavenly Father are limitless
His kindness knows no bounds and his compassion
Lives to please those who grieve for the times when
Life was better and they had hopes for making goals
Come true and discovering the blessedness in hearts
Who would reach out to others on the edges of prayers
Caressing sunsets with bare hands that truly care
The wonders of our heavenly Father are endless
Reaching beyond the pains and sorrows that take us
To mourning for the moments when we were awakened
Inside by the joys that abide in truth, goodness and delight
Filling the heart and whole life with love that knows no
Conditions or restrictions and gives from the depths of the
Spirit where it grows larger than affections can hope to know
The wonders of our heavenly Father are continuous
Keeping heartache from destroying our deepest faith
In the One who knows the way to comfort and console
With a gentle hand that touches the one who knows how
To listen with a ear of hope and a voice of praise to Him
Who answers in the rush of the wind and the showers of
Rainfall that beckon to the hungry heart for reassurance
The wonders of our heavenly Father are inexhaustible
Giving back to a dying world all the life it can hope to know
With a caress to the very soul that breaths joy into the ones
Who listen with their heart and not their minds, listen to
One who answers the prayers spoken in a voice of truth
With honest praise for His light, His integrity, His wise ways
Which teach us all to love beyond our own thoughts or limits
