Wonderful Things - Children

Their innocence; Cute words they tell Their first steps; Hugs, kisses, smiles. Seeing their surprised looks When they open your gift; The rocks they collect, Snowmen they build. Seeing them ride their bike; Fly their kites up high, Jump in mud puddles; Enjoy trips to the zoo. Listening to them sing songs; Count to ten or more, Enjoy the little things in life; Find new friends whose love is true. The priceless things they do; Things which help them grow, The joy the young ones give When they whisper "I love you."
