Woman of Power

I was a woman full of power
Before I was ever born.
This old soul is strong and wise and true
With strength for life’s darkest storm.

I am still a woman of power.
My dreams are ever haunting.
I bring my love that will stand through time,
Yet, you are still left wanting.

I’ll remain a woman of power
With flaws so easy to see.
If only you’ll let me spread my wings,
You’ll see how strong I can be.

If you love this woman of power,
Please be careful with my heart.
I’m strong enough to live without you,
Though, I’ve loved you from the start.
