wow, a really awesome haiku. If it was for the contest, I think it should have won! by the way, I just saw the note below about your poem posting twice. What I do is just go to Edit and delete it. But if you don't realize it right away and have chalked up a lot of comments on both posts, then it is difficult to go ahead and delete one of them!

I am so sorry, every once in awhile myh poems enter twice..not sure how to stop it..adm cant seem to fix it. BG
