Without You
Without You
Knowing my heart would never cease to feel
Anything other than pain , an undying love,
An unimaginable void, a friend , a lover lost.
As distant shores close all doors, my tears fill
And swell already deep waters, falling crimson
Floating to the ground , my heart sinking ,
Drowning, lying down, fallen crimson no longer
Dancing, floating , all love now lost.
Searching inner peace, walking away the pain,
On rocks I slump, my body curled , the sea invites,
Entices, it calls to me like once you did.
Quash my fears and loneliness embrace, save find me
As once you did before , held in your arms , all to brief.
Life , will and circumstance spiralling and soon
Hard ground will disappear and swallow whole
This tortured man and wavering soul ,
Without you .
