Within My Hands

You almost made me laugh
But instead, I just yelled
It’s almost funny
But instead, it’s enraging

Such a petty plot
To lead me from my path
Why couldn’t you just give up?
Now instead, driven wedge

You once had control
But now you are left weak
Just leave me alone
And leave us two be

What’s your plan? (All within my hands)
Do you think you can? (Fall within my hands)
Just go away. (Stand tall within my hands)
And stay away. (So small within my hands)

You gave me no hints
So I ran, no surprise
But what confuses me
Is how I had to guess

Perhaps I wasn’t clear
I severed to save you
You know it would just sting worse
Oh, but now, you cling on.

And you crawl within my…
Hands.

I’m in control!
You know I am, no matter how strong!
I’ll never give up!
It’s how I am, no matter how strong!

Just give up. (Shatter within my hands)
It’s just getting sad. (Vanish within my hands)
I saved you then. (Implode within my hands)
Don’t make it worse. (Explode with my hands)

I don’t want to hurt.
Just go away, please.
Before it gets worse,
Don’t cry within my hands.
