Withered Memories
Wrinkled leaves lay on the lawn
From falling early in the dawn
Today is filled with a pleasurable mix
Of summer and fall with fallen sticks
From breeze that continues through the day
The leaves are like old memories that stay
A life lived, slowly withering, but still
New memories are created with human will
